v1 or v2?

For a new wiki deployment, should I start with v1 or v2?

I'm planning to use opensource wikidot for a new knowledgebase at work. I've only been using wikidot.com for a month or so don't have a large investment in the current state of affairs (wikidot v1). Since I'm basically a clean slate, should I start with v1 or v2?

I guess the question behind the question is, what stage of development is v2 (alpha, beta, release candidate) and how stable or dynamic is it expected to be? Also, is there a list of what is different between v1 and v2 somewhere?

Wikidot v2 is not "usable" at all. It is a development version now and if you are interested in a working Wikidot version, you should stick to v1 for now.
